Spring update, part 2.

I know i did a quick update this afternoon about the shift to Spring, here is another quick one.

Check this weather map out for about 12 days time, it illustrates how the pattern shift is happening a bit earlier than last year.

Basically, the two blue arrows show the high pressure systems are starting to dip Southwards. Remembering that the winds flow anti-clockwise around the High.

This allows the moist Easterly winds to pump moisture over the continent, the arrows in black.  This in turn means the moisture can be lifted by the trough over Central Australia, which is the arrow in Red.

This pattern shift will start the ball rolling, and become another wet summer and autumn IMO.
