In 2007, the Antarctic was the warmest place on Earth. Al Gore said so, CO2 was causing it.
All of the alarmists agreed. However, it appears that climate science made a mistake.
In 2012, we have record extent at the South of the earth, in early October.
I will let Seth Borenstein explain.
Warmist Seth Borenstein: Climate change skeptics have seized on the Antarctic ice to argue that the globe isn’t warming and that scientists are ignoring the southern continent because it’s not convenient. But scientists say the skeptics are misinterpreting what’s happening and why.
Shifts in wind patterns and the giant ozone hole over the Antarctic this time of year — both related to human activity — are probably behind the increase in ice, experts say. This subtle growth in winter sea ice since scientists began measuring it in 1979 was initially surprising, they say, but makes sense the more it is studied
Now I understand where I have been going wrong all this time.
When I try to make ice cubes, I have been putting the ice cube trays in the freezer.
What I should have been doing is popping them in the oven, and eventually they would freeze.
There is no stopping this nonsense from the same usual suspects.
