Record CO2 emissions cause weaker El Nino’s

In 1998, we had a Super El Nino, a true monster. It was almost a grand finale of the warm PDO, as ever since the PDO started to weaken before shifting to its cold phase in 2006/7.

After that time in 1998, CO2 went absolutely ballistic. The emissions have been even greater than anyone, including climate scientists, could possibly imagined.

We are told by the cartoonist John Cook that this CO2 is hidden in the ocean, but lets check the data.

Here is a graph prepared by Bob Tisdale which shows the reality.

Notice they are all weaker, and this years is dead! If CO2 was really a climate forcing it would be having an impact.

The cold PDO, a natural cycle, is taking over, and is slowly cooling the climate.
