Further to my post about the BOM and El Nino’s.

You will remember the other day I posted about the extreme alarmism from the BOM regarding future El Nino’s that were going to be more severe and pretty much kill us all.

Here is an excerpt.

AUSTRALIANS can expect more intense droughts during El Nino years due to climate change.

The Bureau of Meteorology has used new climate models from the IPCC to work out the first consistent projection of how El Nino will be affected by a warming climate.

The El Nino-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) is a warming of water that affects weather patterns across the Pacific Ocean.

Further, here is a story last week.

Farmers in South Australia could be facing a dry year in 2014.

That’s according to the latest forecast modelling by Dr David Stephens, senior research officer with the Australian Export Grain Innovation Centre.

He says preliminary data indicates an El Nino weather pattern is developing but stresses it’s too early to put out a formal El Nino forecast until November.

He says after a few good years, the country is due for another El Nino event.

“The reality is that we can’t expect good years to keep coming and coming,” he said.

Certainly, models indicate El nino.

Well I will make a prediction right now that we will see the exact opposite next year, and another La Nina will develop.

And then everyone can decide how good the climate models are in telling us whether we will die or not.
