We need the rain to stop here in Southern Victoria, its making farming conditions very tough as we have been well above average with rainfall for the last 6 months.
However, David Jones disagrees and says we are getting desperate.
Which is no surprise to anyone with an IQ greater than a turnip.

26C up here yesterday, so getting toastie for this time of year. Back to 11C with 100% humidity this morning with hill fog. Viz at about 50m.
Few spits of rain, but nothing measurable so far.
Looking very good for rain. Need it to be honest… Quite dry around town for the time of year (suspect the heat and wind is a fair bit of the story).

We need it…
I always thought 150% above normal was enough rain but I’m obviously mistaken.
Nothing like early morning alarmism. Makes the train trip shorter for him.
Well he has his wish, 50mm has already fallen in the SW and NE of the state.
